iPhone 16 Camera Details Leaked: Jaw-Dropping Features Revealed Ahead of Anticipated September Launch
Apple to Unveil iPhone 16 Series with Enhanced Camera Features Next Month
Apple is expected to launch its flagship iPhone 16 series at the company’s Cupertino headquarters next month. Ahead of this anticipated release, key details about the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus camera specifications have emerged.
According to Apple Insider, both models will retain last year’s 48MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and 2x optical telephoto zoom. Additionally, they feature an ultra-wide-angle lens capable of 0.5x photography, with a slight aperture upgrade to f/2.2 from the iPhone 15’s f/2.4, potentially enhancing low-light performance. Notably, macro photography support is expected for the first time in these models.
Reports also indicate a design shift to a vertical pill-shaped camera cutout similar to the iPhone X, departing from the iPhone 15’s diagonal setup. This change is being made to facilitate the capture of spatial video.
Contrary to a circulated poster suggesting a September 10 launch, the source of this poster was a regular user, not a leak. However, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, a more reliable source, claims Apple’s major hardware event is planned for September 10, with the new iPhones possibly going on sale by September 20.
