Tragic Loss: Family Suspects Foul Play in Death of 14-Year-Old Specially Abled Boy Found in Morigaon Pond, Assam
A 14-year-old specially-abled boy was tragically found dead in a pond near the fire brigade office in Morigaon, Assam, on the evening of August 16. The youth had left home earlier that evening with Rs 100, given by his mother for bicycle repairs.
Local residents reportedly heard a splash, which prompted immediate action. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was quickly notified, and they managed to retrieve the boy and his bicycle from the water. Despite prompt transportation to Morigaon Civil Hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.
The circumstances of his death have led to suspicions among his family. Believing he may not have been alone at the time, they suspect foul play and insist on a thorough investigation by the Morigaon police to uncover the true cause of death and any possible involvement of others.
