On Friday, he dedicated this honor to the late Kannada cinema icon Puneeth Rajkumar, the divine, and Daiva Nartakas—dancers devoted to god’s service.

"From the start, I have insisted on dedicating this award to Puneeth Rajkumar, the Kannada people, and the Daiva Nartakas.
