Manipur CM N Biren Singh Vows to Unite Hill and Valley Regions: A Vision of Harmony and Progress
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh addressed the persistent divide between the hill and valley regions of the state on August 12, attributing this disparity to the biased treatment by previous administrations. Singh asserted that under the current BJP government, substantial strides have been made to address these issues. “Under our leadership, significant efforts have been made to bridge the gap between the hill and valley regions,” Singh stated. “Our commitment to equitable development ensures that every region of Manipur receives the attention and resources it deserves,” he added, emphasizing the government’s focus on fair and comprehensive progress throughout the state.
A day earlier, on August 11, Chief Minister Singh took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to commend the Army and Border Security Force (BSF) for their recent successful operations against Kuki militants in Bunglon. He highlighted the significance of these operations in combating threats and ensuring stability. “As a commitment to eradicating threats and maintaining stability in our state, the Army and BSF have successfully dismantled the Kuki militants’ bunkers in Bunglon,” Singh noted in his post.
He further urged citizens to support the security forces in their mission to foster a peaceful and secure environment for all. Singh’s statements and social media posts underscore his administration’s dual focus on equitable development and robust security measures to achieve a stable and unified Manipur.
By addressing both regional disparities and security concerns, the Chief Minister aims to cultivate a more inclusive and secure state, reflecting the BJP government’s comprehensive approach to governance.
