Elated Triumph: India Dominates UAE in Dazzling Women’s Asia Cup T20 Victory in Dambulla
In yesterday’s Women’s Asia Cup T20 Cricket match, India triumphed over UAE with a commanding 78-run victory in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, ensuring their place in the tournament’s semi-finals. Set to bat first, India amassed an impressive 201 for five in their allotted 20 overs. Leading from the front, Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored a significant 66 runs, while wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh’s unbeaten 64 further bolstered the team’s highest T20 score to date.
In response, UAE struggled to find their footing and managed 123 runs for the loss of seven wickets over 20 overs, falling short of India’s target. With this win, India now leads Group A with four points earned from two matches. Looking ahead, India is set to face Nepal tomorrow.
