Guwahati, July 17: The Congress’ Political Affairs Committee convened in Guwahati on July 17 to deliberate on recommendations aimed at fortifying organisational structures. The assembly, tasked with strategizing for upcoming Assembly bypolls and Panchayat elections, comprised six diverse discussion groups, each spearheaded by prominent leaders including Gaurav Gogoi, Pradyut Bordoloi, Debabrata Saikia, and Rakibul Hussain.

The event saw notable participation from All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary, Jitendra Singh, Prithviraj Sathe, Secretary Vikash Upadhyaya, and Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President, Bhupen Bora. Jitendra Singh, serving as the coordinator, emphasized a multitude of strategies aimed at organisational enhancement.
