Himanta Biswa Sarma SLAMS Rahul Gandhi’s Family for Insulting B.R. Ambedkar and DECEIVING the Public
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched a blistering critique against the Congress party and the Gandhi family, accusing them of disrespecting Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. “If anyone has insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar, it is Rahul Gandhi’s family and party. They claim to safeguard the Constitution with false promises to the public,” he stated.
Turning his attention to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government, Sarma lambasted its performance, remarking, “The party has not fulfilled a single promise from their manifesto. Five years are nearly over, yet no scheme or promise has been implemented.” He emphasized the urgency to oust the current administration for a better future, expressing the need to combat naxalism and accelerate progress by bringing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to power in Jharkhand.
Sarma also highlighted the persisting issue of sand smuggling in the state. “Sand smuggling is rampant across Jharkhand. Although I did not name anyone, the activity continues unchecked. If something is wrong in the state, the moral responsibility lies with the Chief Minister,” he stated.
Expressing his confidence in the BJP’s prospects in the forthcoming state elections, Sarma affirmed, “Since the Lok Sabha elections, I have believed that a BJP Government in Jharkhand is inevitable. Elections will be conducted, and a BJP Chief Minister will be sworn in.”
This sharp critique from CM Sarma underscores the heightened political tensions as Jharkhand edges closer to its state elections, signaling a charged atmosphere with significant implications for the region’s governance and developmental trajectory.
