Royal Jordanian Airlines, the nation’s flag carrier, subsequently declared a 48-hour suspension of its flights to Beirut, following directives from the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission. This temporary grounding affects all flights by national airlines heading to Beirut Airport.
The move follows a series of intense Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon on Monday, leading to significant casualties and escalating the conflict. According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, these strikes resulted in the deaths of 356 people, including 24 children and 42 women, with an additional 1,246 individuals reported injured.
