Urgent Call to Action: Tripura CM Inspires BJP Workers to Passionately Amplify Membership Drive
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has called on BJP workers to ramp up their efforts toward achieving the party’s membership drive goals. Addressing attendees at the Membership Drive 2024 in 8 Town Baradowali Mandal on Friday evening, Saha emphasized the importance of this initiative.
The Membership Drive was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and commenced in Tripura on September 3. Recalling the 2017 drive, Saha mentioned that he initially estimated a target of 3 lakh members but succeeded in enrolling over 6 lakh, highlighting the power of determination and commitment.
Saha pointed out that the CPI(M) and Congress are re-engaging with the public as democracy strengthens in the state. Stressing the necessity of taking the current drive seriously, he disclosed that approximately 4 crore members have been enrolled nationwide, with 3.60 lakh members joining from Tripura in just two weeks.
He further mentioned that in five mandals, the membership targets have been met, but emphasized the need for a special drive to reach the new target of 12 lakh memberships in the state.
