Breaking News: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Empowers Communication with Appointment of Dynamic New Spokespersons
The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) has announced the appointment of seven new spokespersons, effective immediately. This decision, executed by the Party President in alignment with Article IV of the party’s constitution, was disseminated through an official memo from the party’s headquarters.
The new appointees are C.P. Sharma, Jacob Khaling, Bikash Basnet, Krishna Lepcha, Yougen Tamang, Kavita Sapkota, and Sanjay Dilpali Rai.
In a separate political development, Shiva Kumar Timsina resigned from the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) on Saturday, September 14, with a formal letter addressed to Party President Pawan Kumar Chamling. Timsina commended Chamling’s extensive contributions to Sikkim’s development, highlighting his tenure as India’s longest-serving Chief Minister and his instrumental role in the state’s modernization. In his letter, Timsina wrote, “You have made our head upright, and thou shalt be our crown forever.”
This news follows Sikkim CM’s recent announcement regarding the development of a fossil park in Namchi after the discovery of a 1.5-billion-year-old stromatolite.
