The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the 2026 admit card for the PhD Entrance Test for the July session. The examination is scheduled for October 11, 2026. Eligible candidates who successfully registered can download their hall tickets from the official IGNOU PhD portal at ignou-phd.samarth.edu.in using their application number and password.
To access the admit card, candidates must visit the official website and select the candidate login option. After entering their registered credentials, they will be able to view and download the admit card. According to the official notice, access is limited to candidates whose applications have been approved.
The hall ticket contains essential examination information, including the candidate’s name and photograph, examination date and time, and the address of the assigned exam centre. Candidates must carry the admit card to the examination venue. Those without a valid hall ticket will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
A physical printout of the IGNOU PhD admit card is mandatory, and digital copies will not be accepted. Candidates should also carry a valid identification document, such as a driving licence, Aadhaar card or passport, and arrive at the exam centre at least one hour before the scheduled start time. Candidates are advised to check the official IGNOU PhD portal for further updates.
