Rohit Shetty Electrifies ‘Singham Again’ Finale with Emotional Folk Elements – A Powerful Ajay Devgn Epic!
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is escalating the anticipation for “Singham Again” by shooting additional climactic scenes featuring a dramatic play set-up and characters dressed as demons. According to a recent report, this effort aims to meet fans’ high expectations for the film’s finale. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Bajirao Singham, with Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh also returning to Shetty’s Cop Universe.
Shetty’s shoot is currently taking place at the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle, even as the post-production phase for the Diwali release progresses. A source quoted in a Mid-day report revealed that additional sequences include a grand theatrical performance with characters dressed as rakshasas (demons), injecting a folk-inspired twist into the film’s climax.
The shooting drew a crowd of approximately 500 people on the first day. According to the source, the production team utilized these onlookers as part of the scene, which required a large audience. Filming is expected to wrap by September 11, with Ajay Devgn scheduled to join the shoot soon to film an elaborate performance centerpiece.
“Singham Again,” the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, is a sequel to “Singham Returns” (2014). The star-studded cast includes Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar (who previously starred in Shetty’s 2021 film “Sooryavanshi”), Ranveer Singh (reprising his role from 2018’s “Simmba”), alongside Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Additionally, Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, Siddhartha Jadhav, and Ashutosh Rana have pivotal roles in the film’s action-packed narrative.
“Singham Again” is set for release during Diwali 2024. Initially announced as “Singham 3” in September 2017, the official title was confirmed in December 2022. With Shetty’s meticulous attention to detail and a stellar cast, expectations for this film are sky-high.
