Reported by Maksam Tayeng
Pasighat: The State Bank of India’s Pasighat branch on Thursday donated three sets of airport-style chairs to Padma Shri awardee Yanung Jamoh Lego for use at her herbal clinic at GTC, the bank said. The donation, intended to ease long waits and improve seating for patients and visitors, was handed over during a visit by a team led by SBI Pasighat Branch Chief Manager Arun Kumar.
The contribution was made under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to strengthen facilities for those who come to the clinic. Clinic officials said the chairs will be installed in waiting areas where large numbers of patients often queue for treatment.
Arun Kumar said the seating will benefit visitors coming from different parts of the country who frequently wait to receive care. He also praised Lego for offering effective and affordable herbal treatments for chronic conditions, noting the clinic’s wide reach.
Yanung Jamoh Lego practices traditional Adi herbal medicine for complex and long-term health problems. Clinic records show she has treated patients for more than 30 years, attracting visitors from across India and from abroad.
