Tripura CM Attends Bangladesh Passing-Out Parade for Police Constables
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced the passing out parade of male and female police constables from the 91st and 92nd batches at the KTD Singh Police Training Academy in Narsingdi, saying in a post on X that 476 constables completed their training. Of those, 318 are women, a figure the chief minister highlighted as evidence of the force’s growing focus on women’s empowerment and inclusive recruitment.
The mass induction marks a significant reinforcement of the state’s ground-level policing capacity. The passing out parade — the formal graduation ceremony for recruits — was presented by the chief minister as a step toward strengthening law enforcement presence and responsiveness across communities.
Saha said the government is working to create “a modern, disciplined, people-friendly and humane policing system capable of serving society with integrity, courage and compassion,” framing the graduates as the frontline agents of that vision. The emphasis on training, discipline and community-orientation was underlined as central to the force’s evolving role.
The newly inducted constables were congratulated and wished success in maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety and serving citizens responsibly. The chief minister’s post framed the cohort’s induction as both a personnel milestone and a commitment to more inclusive, citizen-centred policing.
