Generous Support Pours in for Flood-Affected Tripura

Agartala, August 31, 2024: Numerous compassionate individuals from civil society have initiated humanitarian efforts to assist those affected by the recent floods and to bolster the state’s infrastructure. Responding to Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha’s appeal for aid, financial contributions are being made daily to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Several Chief Ministers from states such as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Arunachal Pradesh have extended their support to Tripura. The central government, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the helm, has also announced a significant financial relief package for flood victims.
Recent contributions to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund include:
- Infrastructure Developers’ of Tripura: Rs 14,00,000
- Tripura Automobiles (Manipal Singh): Rs 1,51,000
- Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences: Rs 1,51,000
- Indian Medical Association (IMA): Rs 1,80,000
- Kalika Jewellers, Agartala: Rs 2,00,000
- All India Punjab National Bank Officers Association: Rs 2,00,000
- Swapan Chandra De (De Family): Rs 3,00,000
- Arunachal University of Studies: Rs 5,00,000

- Unnayan Sangha Club: Rs 20,001
- Samagra Siksha Non-Teaching Association: Rs 45,001
