Shocking Revelations: Elon Musk’s Controversial Plans to Host at SpaceX and Visit Epstein’s Island
A trove of newly released documents related to Jeffrey Epstein has surfaced, revealing that Elon Musk engaged in correspondence with the convicted sex offender during 2012 and 2013. The emails highlight discussions about potential meetings at Epstein’s private island and Musk’s SpaceX facility in Southern California. Notably, Musk inquired about attending what Epstein described as the “wildest party” held at the island.
Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has long sought to distance himself from Epstein. Following Epstein’s death by suicide in 2019 while in federal custody, Musk reiterated his stance on social media, claiming, “Epstein tried to get me to go to his island and I REFUSED.” He also voiced his discontent with media outlets, such as Sky News, for linking him to Epstein while not addressing the connections of others, including Britain’s Prince Andrew.
The timing of the document release is significant, as it aligns with a subpoena issued to Musk by the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2023. Authorities have been investigating whether Epstein may have referred Musk as a client to JPMorgan Chase. This week, the Department of Justice released millions of pages of documents concerning Epstein, alongside over 2,000 videos and 180,000 images. This release follows considerable public pressure to comply with federal law mandating that all related files be made public by December 19.
Among the published emails, Musk’s name appears with his email address redacted. In one October 2012 email, Musk expressed to Epstein, “The world needs more romance.” He mentioned plans with his then-partner, English actress Talulah Riley, to visit St. Barts and indicated an interest in meeting at Epstein’s island. In November 2013, Epstein offered Musk a private helicopter for transportation to the island, inquiring, “How many people will you be for the heli to island?” Musk replied that he and Riley would be attending and asked, “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?”
Later that year, Musk reiterated his travel plans, indicating he would be in the British Virgin Islands and St. Barts over the holidays. Epstein responded affirmatively, offering to send a helicopter, to which Musk replied with gratitude. He explored the possibility of traveling to the island shortly after Christmas, asking if he and Riley should visit the day before New Year’s.
While CNBC has yet to confirm whether Musk ever visited Epstein’s island, he has consistently denied doing so. Musk did not respond to requests for comment regarding the emails. Additionally, the newly released documents reveal that Musk forwarded inquiries from Epstein to his cousin, Peter Rive, the founder of SolarCity, about electrifying Epstein’s New Mexico ranch and island.
In 2016, Tesla acquired SolarCity, which Musk had invested in personally and served on its board. Earlier discussions arose when Musk speculated on X (formerly Twitter) that then-President Donald Trump was withholding Epstein-related files to protect his reputation. He provocatively posted, “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files.” Musk later apologized for what he described as excessive remarks concerning Trump.
The release of these emails and documents raises new questions about Musk’s connections to Epstein, continuing to shed light on the intricate web of relationships surrounding the controversial financier. As the investigation unfolds, scrutiny of these high-profile connections is likely to grow.
