- Navigate to the "Help Centre" menu and select either "Fix a problem" or "Manage your account and settings."
- Eligible accounts will find a new option, "Recover a hacked YouTube channel."
- Click the "Chat with our hacked channel assistant" button to open a chat window with the AI assistant.
The AI assistant will ask a series of questions to secure your login details and reverse unauthorized changes made by the hacker. Google also advises users to verify signs of account compromise, such as changes to profile pictures, channel descriptions, AdSense settings, or unposted videos, before initiating the recovery process.
