Guwahati: Gaurav Gogoi, president of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), paid tribute to the late singer and cultural icon Zubeen Garg on Sunday, October 19, during a memorial held at the Lakhidhar Bora Field near Dighalipukhuri. He went on to call for a thorough investigation into Garg’s death, underlining the necessity of accountability. “The people of Assam deserve clear answers,” he asserted. “The government must undertake a transparent investigation, gather all relevant evidence, and ensure that any legal proceedings lead to justice.”
