Veteran actor Jackie Shroff took to Instagram today, sharing a video of himself caught in heavy traffic in Mumbai alongside an ambulance. In the clip, a visibly frustrated Shroff brings attention to the serious repercussions of congestion, pointing to the ambulance and stating, “Raaste pe hie dum tod dega,” which translates to “He will die on the way.” He expresses his anger over the lack of road discipline, adding, “Toh road banana chahiye ya inn log ko samajha chahiye, aage driver log ko. Magar itna khopdi kidhar hai,” which means “The drivers ahead should understand and make way. But where is the sense?”
The video quickly drew attention, with fellow actor Ananya Panday liking the clip. Shroff was last seen in “Tanvi The Great” and “Housefull 5.” He is set to appear next in “Tu Meri Main Tera,” alongside Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, produced by Karan Johar. The film recently wrapped shooting and is scheduled for release on December 31, 2025. Additionally, Jackie has “Welcome to the Jungle” lined up.
In a recent interview with journalist Vickey Lalwani, Shroff reminisced about working with Shah Rukh Khan in the early years of SRK’s career, particularly during “King Uncle.” He spoke candidly, noting, “He always had an ‘akelapan’ (a sense of loneliness). He’s a great guy… very deep. As happy as he looks, he’s equally lonely. He’s a king after all. Go to the top of a mountain, you’ll see, he came from the bottom, and today, he’s holding the peak. And he’s carried himself like a true king.”
