The fourth installment of the popular Baaghi franchise, titled Baaghi 4, was released on September 5 and features Tiger Shroff in the lead role. Directed by A. Harsha, expectations were high for this action-thriller. Initially, the film achieved a solid opening, earning Rs 12 crore on its first day. However, its performance has sharply declined since then. By Day 6, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, Baaghi 4’s collection had fallen to Rs 2.25 crore, highlighting its struggle at the box office.
Baaghi 4 also stars Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist, with notable performances from former beauty queen Harnaaz Sandhu and Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa. However, despite a promising start, the film only maintained double-digit earnings for the first three days. The earnings took a significant dip starting on the fourth day, which was also the film’s first Monday.
The day-wise box office collections reveal a concerning trend for the film. On its first day, it garnered Rs 12 crore, followed by Rs 10 crore on the second day and Rs 10 crore again on the third day. Earnings fell to Rs 4.5 crore on Day 4, then to Rs 4 crore on Day 5, before dropping to Rs 2.25 crore on Day 6. This brings the total domestic collection for Baaghi 4 to Rs 42 crore thus far.
In a notable development, Baaghi 4 faced competition from Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files, both of which premiered on the same date. While Baaghi 4 has struggled, The Bengal Files appears to be trailing even further behind in terms of box office earnings. Overall, Baaghi 4’s disappointing decline has raised questions about its reception and future performance in theaters.
