UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Celebrates India’s 78th Independence Day with Heartfelt Tribute, Praises Strong Bilateral Ties

In a speech marking India’s 78th Independence Day, the UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence lauded the strong bilateral ties between India and the UAE, underscoring the Indian community’s significant contributions to the nation’s progress. During an event by the Indian Business and Professional Council, the Minister highlighted the deep-rooted connection between the two countries, commending the council’s role in nurturing this relationship.

He praised India’s achievements since gaining independence, describing it as a “force for tolerance, peace, and harmony” and a hub of innovation and global research and development. The Minister lauded Indian citizens for their dedication to values such as courage, strength, intellect, justice, loyalty, and understanding.

Acknowledging India’s global significance, the Minister celebrated its efforts towards achieving prosperity for all under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He expressed optimism about deepening political, economic, commercial, and cultural ties between the nations.

The Minister also recognized the integral role of the Indian community in the UAE’s development. “The United Arab Emirates is a safe, stable, and prosperous country, and the Indian community here should be proud of that because you are an integral part of this progress,” he remarked. He encouraged the Indian community to continue fostering cooperation and partnerships, emphasizing their positive impact on UAE society.

Concluding his address, the Minister reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to strengthening its long-standing relationship with India, wishing for India’s continued success and prosperity.
