Western Chakhesang Hoho Holds 56th General Session in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, August 9 (MExN): The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) convened its 56th General Session on August 7 at the CPO Building in Chakhesang Colony, Dimapur. The event featured KG Kenye, Minister of Power & Parliamentary Affairs, as the guest speaker, and MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, Leader of the NPF Legislature Party, as the guest of honour.

A significant highlight of the session was the election of new office bearers. Chisoi Khesoh was elected as the President while Keve Nuh assumed the role of General Secretary. The assembly saw diverse participation, including the President of the Chakhesang Public Organization, Vezuhu Keyho, several church leaders, officials from various Western Chakhesang frontal organizations, government officers stationed in Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts, as well as retired bureaucrats and politicians.

Minister Kenye, in his address, underscored the importance of unity within the Chakhesang community, stressing the need for collective cohesion irrespective of geographical dispersion. The session also witnessed spiritual blessings offered by church leaders, fostering a sense of solidarity and communal spirit among the attendees.
