Operation Sindoor: Strikes on 9 Terror Sites Deep Inside Pakistan
Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Friday that India has conducted its most significant offensive against cross-border terrorism named Operation Sindoor. This operation was launched in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam and aimed at dismantling key terror infrastructure deep within Pakistani territory under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Since assuming power, PM Modi has issued such a powerful response to terrorist attacks that it has left the world astonished and instilled fear in Pakistan,” said Shah.
In his detailed account of Operation Sindoor, Shah stated that Indian forces successfully targeted and destroyed nine locations utilized by terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. These strategic sites included training camps and hideouts located up to 100 kilometers inside Pakistan.
“Whenever Pakistan launched an attack along the entire western border, our Air Defence System responded with exceptional precision, ensuring that not a single missile or drone penetrated Indian territory. After eliminating over 100 notorious terrorists, while Pakistan was still strategizing its next steps, we took action against 15 of their air bases. Importantly, we ensured that no civilian population was harmed, effectively crippling their ability to carry out any future air attacks,” he explained.
Shah emphasized the efficiency of India’s Air Defence System, noting that “under PM Modi’s leadership, it has become so precise that none of the missiles or drones reached Indian soil.” Operation Sindoor represents a decisive measure taken by India to neutralize threats emanating from across its borders, reinforcing the country’s commitment to combatting terrorism while safeguarding civilian lives.
