Gang of Five Arrested for Robbery and Assault
In a significant breakthrough, Kulsumpura police apprehended a gang of five individuals involved in a violent robbery. The arrested include notorious rowdy-sheeter Chowkat Akash from Kamatipura and repeat property offender Parcha Vishal Singh, along with their accomplices Biradar Kishan Rao Rohit, Sakat Jitender, and Gunnala Pradeep.
The incident unfolded on the night of August 4. The complainant and his friend were traveling from a hotel in Narayanguda towards Attapur on a two-wheeler. The gang intercepted them on the 100-feet road in Puranapool. Wielding a knife, the perpetrators forcibly took away their mobile phones and cash. When the victims attempted to resist, the assailants slashed their hands, inflicting injuries.
Two days after the incident, the Kulsumpura police successfully tracked down and arrested the suspects. The prompt action by the law enforcement officials has brought a sense of relief among the residents, who had been shaken by the brazen attack.
This arrest marks a substantial step in curbing such violent offenses and ensuring the safety of the community.
