Members of the Students Federation of India (SFI) gathered at the Dindigul Collectorate on Monday, advocating for immediate action against private school administrations that continue to hold classes during the summer holidays. The Dindigul district committee, led by president M.E. Niruban and secretary J. Deepak Raj, submitted a formal petition to the Collector, urging him to enforce a prohibition on summer classes.
The SFI representatives emphasized that summer vacations were designed to provide students with crucial downtime to rest and recuperate from academic pressures, especially in the sweltering summer heat.
