Abdullah praised the quick and effective response of security forces in repelling cross-border attacks from Pakistan that occurred last night across both the Jammu and Kashmir divisions. In a related development, the Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed senior IAS officer Shaleen Kabra, currently the Financial Commissioner of the Jal Shakti Department, as the official spokesperson for the Union Territory.
