
Nagaland CM’s Crucial Dialogue with Army Commander: Paving the Path to Peace, Security, and Prosperity
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio recently engaged in a strategic dialogue with General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Spear Corps, Lt Gen H S Sahi, focusing on key issues such as enhancing security, fostering peace, and promoting development in the state. The meeting took place on August 2 at the Chief Minister’s office.
As per a release issued by the Assam Rifles, Lt Gen Sahi underscored the Army’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Nagaland and its residents. He expressed his gratitude for the continuous support received from the state government, which has been instrumental in the successful execution of the Army’s operations and initiatives.
Following the discussions with Chief Minister Rio, Lt Gen Sahi proceeded to visit the headquarters of the Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) to evaluate their operational preparedness.
