Man Singh, the Asian champion, claimed victory in the men’s race at the New Delhi Marathon 2025, while Bhagirathi Bisht emerged triumphant in the women’s category in India’s national capital. Singh, who is 35 years old, completed the marathon in an impressive two hours, 15 minutes, and 24 seconds, securing the gold medal. He narrowly outpaced Pardeep Chaudhary, who finished a close second with a time of 2:15:29. Akshay Saini also delivered a strong performance, claiming third place with a finish of 2:15:34.
Held at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the New Delhi Marathon is endorsed by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) as the country’s national marathon, and it is a certified World Athletics race.
