Notably, the Grameen Credit Score aims to improve loan access for rural communities, while the increased credit guarantees for start-ups and MSMEs could boost local entrepreneurship.

Wilfred emphasized that the budget’s allocation of Rs 10,000 crore to the Alternate Investment Fund for start-ups and the introduction of skill-training schemes for first-time entrepreneurs may foster business growth in Nagaland. The establishment of Atal Tinkering Labs and digital infrastructure improvements are expected to bolster education.

Transport and logistics also see advancements, with the UDAN Scheme introducing over 130 new airports and helipads, potentially enhancing Nagaland’s connectivity. Support for the unified logistics framework and export promotion are viewed as transformative for agricultural exports.
