Unveiling the Truth: Gaurav Gogoi Passionately Challenges JPC Process, Demands Inclusive Stakeholder Dialogue

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has voiced concerns regarding the management of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC), drawing attention to the unusual suspension of 10 members. Gogoi criticized the scheduling of committee meetings without prior notice and the modification of the agenda without consulting members. He suggested that these actions seemed to align with a “pre-mediated roadmap.” Moreover, Gogoi noted that meetings on the 24th and 25th were announced without any prior discussion among committee members.

In response to these issues, DMK MP A Raja composed a letter, which will be submitted to the Speaker, highlighting these concerns. The letter requests a platform to discuss the views of different stakeholders. Both MPs remain optimistic that the Speaker will respond positively and proactively to these grievances.
