The Brahmaputra Literature Festival (BLF) is set to commence on February 6 at the Author’s Corner in Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Organized by the Adharxila Trust, Assam, this three-day event aims to spotlight the literary talent of Assam and the Northeast while connecting these voices with national and international audiences. As a segment of the larger “Festival of Festivals” at the New Delhi World Book Fair, the festival promises a rich array of daily sessions, beginning at 3 pm, that cover an extensive range of topics such as fiction, poetry, translations, children’s literature, graphic novels, music, and culinary arts.
Throughout the festival, prominent figures like Karma Paljor, Mitra Phukan, Arup Kumar Dutta, and Maitrayee Patar will contribute as speakers and moderators, adding depth and insight to the discussions.
