Women from Phiro village, who have relocated due to marriage to Dimapur, Kohima, and Wokha, have generously contributed a staff quarter to the Phiro Baptist Church in celebration of its centenary. As reported by Bhadra Gogoi, the church will mark its 100th anniversary this month. The construction of this new facility commenced in March 2024 and concluded in November 2024. The newly built, fully furnished staff quarter includes two bedrooms with attached washrooms, a sitting room, and a kitchen, providing a comfortable living space for church staff. This significant gift demonstrates the profound connection and contribution of the Phiro women, adding a memorable touch to the church’s historical milestone.
