Eligibility criteria for geologist candidates include a Post Graduate Degree in Geology or related fields, such as M.Sc. or M.Tech in Petroleum Geoscience, Petroleum Geology, or Geological Technology, all with at least 60% marks. Geophysicist applicants must hold a Post Graduate Degree in Geophysics or Physics with Electronics or an M.Tech in Geophysical Technology, also with a minimum of 60% marks. Engineering positions require a Graduate Degree in the respective discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
Interested candidates must apply online through the ONGC website. The application window is open from January 10, 2025, to January 24, 2025. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted. Applicants are allowed to apply for only one position in accordance with their qualifications. In cases of multiple applications, the latest submission will be considered final.
Application fees are set at Rs. 1000 for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempt from charges.
