Panic and Urgency Surge as Multiple Delhi Schools Receive Terrifying Bomb Threat Emails: Police Intensify Investigation
Bomb Threat Emails Disrupt Multiple Delhi Schools; Investigation Underway
Several schools in Delhi, including Delhi Public School branches in Vasant Vihar and RK Puram, as well as Blue Bells and Tagore International, received alarming bomb threat emails on Wednesday. The emails, which claimed that explosives had been planted on school premises, stressed security gaps and highlighted knowledge of the schools’ exam schedules and student movements.
According to police, the email warned of "massive and highly dangerous explosives" and noted a lack of stringent security checks, providing an opportunity for the threat. This latest development echoes previous incidents from last year, where over a hundred schools in Delhi were targeted with similar hoax threats, prompting widespread concern. On December 14 of the previous year, the Delhi Police Special Cell identified a student from a private school responsible for a bomb threat email sent to a Paschim Vihar institution.
Authorities are treating the current threats with due seriousness, launching an immediate investigation to assess their credibility and ensure student safety. Parents and school management have been urged to remain alert and cooperative with ongoing inquiries.
The incident highlights ongoing security challenges faced by educational institutions in the national capital and underscores the need for rigorous vigilance and comprehensive safety measures. As the investigation proceeds, the police are focused on identifying the source of these threatening messages and determining whether they are part of a coordinated project of intimidation against educational establishments in Delhi.
