Tragic Accidents Unfold Across Regions
In a heartbreaking incident, locals and emergency services in Tripura rushed Aradhya, found unconscious after a truck collision, to Bishalgarh hospital, where he was declared "brought dead" by medical staff. The driver, meanwhile, managed to escape. Aradhya’s father, Alakesh Acharjee, arrived from Agartala’s Lake Chaumuhuni neighborhood only to find his only child gone. Overcome with grief, Alakesh shared that Aradhya, a talented guitarist who loved motorbiking, was his sole hope following the death of his wife two years prior.
This tragedy coincides with another fatal accident that occurred earlier in December 2024 on Guwahati’s Super Market Flyover. A bike taxi rider, Ranjit Rajbongshi, and an unidentified woman lost their lives in this unfortunate event. In a separate incident, American tourist Berry Thompson died in a motorcycle collision in Assam’s Hojai district. Both cases have prompted police investigations, as they work to uncover the causes behind these devastating occurrences.
