Shocking Navi Mumbai Road Rage Incident: 15 CISF Personnel Accused of Brutally Assaulting Doctor and 2 Others
In Navi Mumbai, a road rage incident involving Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel has led to a police case against 10 to 15 individuals. The altercation occurred on November 29 at around 10:15 p.m. and involved a group of CISF personnel being transported by bus from Mumbai airport to their quarters in Kharghar. A speeding bus allegedly came dangerously close to a doctor’s car between Utsav Chowk and Central Park, prompting the doctor to confront the bus driver over reckless driving. This resulted in an argument where five to six CISF members reportedly exited the bus and assaulted the doctor, his brother, and a friend. The windshield of the doctor’s car was also damaged, according to police sources. The doctor alleged some personnel were intoxicated and fled post-incident. Subsequently, a case was filed against the CISF personnel for rioting and assault, and notices have been issued. Investigations are ongoing.
