The Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has apprehended four key operatives of the notorious Gogi gang, instrumental in sourcing firearms for the group. The arrested individuals, identified as Deepak Sharma (22), Veer Singh (20), Sagar Rana (21), and Deepak Mudgal (25), were caught with 32 firearms and face charges under the Arms Act. Besides acquiring weapons, the suspects also provided refuge to active and wanted gang members and acted as couriers for ammunition and cash. According to a senior police official, Deepak and Veer sourced illegal arms from Bihar with help from a co-conspirator and distributed them to Gogi gang members. During interrogation, they revealed they operated under the directives of incarcerated gang leaders Kallu Khera, Deepak Boxer, and Yogesh. This significant bust highlights the persistent issue of gang-related activities in the region.
