Revolutionary Leap: Apple’s Exciting Mac Mini with M4 Chip Details Unveiled!
Apple is reportedly set to launch its new Mac mini models this Wednesday, featuring the advanced M4 chips. A listing on Amazon briefly revealed a comparison chart that disclosed key specifications before it was taken down. The chart, similar to Apple’s own website format, outlines that the upcoming Mac minis will come with M4 and M4 Pro configurations. Key features include a powerful 14-core CPU, 20-core GPU, up to 64GB of unified memory, and 8TB of storage capacity.
The Amazon leak has also suggested a redesigned, more compact Mac mini, resembling the Mac Studio’s aesthetics. The design incorporates two front-facing USB Type-C ports, which might support Thunderbolt 4, although this wasn’t confirmed. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman hinted that this new Mac mini would be comparable in size to an Apple TV. Despite the overhaul, color options will remain limited to silver.
In contrast, the current Mac mini models are equipped with M2 or M2 Pro chips, boasting up to a 12-core CPU and a 19-core GPU, with unified memory options maxing out at 32GB. The upgrade to M4 chips is anticipated to deliver significant performance enhancements.
Last week, Apple hinted at releasing new Mac products, consistent with the earlier unveiling of M4-powered iMacs. As the tech world anticipates the forthcoming official announcement, these leaks have heightened expectations for innovation in Apple’s desktop lineup.
