Unveiling GodeBLR: A Dazzling Public Art Initiative by BLR Hubba to Inspire and Transform
From November 30 to December 15, BLR Hubba, a festival backed by the government and focused on citizen engagement, will unveil its latest public art initiative, GodeBLR, in Bengaluru. This initiative, themed “Bengaluru Hues,” aims to capture the city’s essence through its history, culture, and natural beauty, transforming Bengaluru’s walls into an open-air gallery with thought-provoking murals. Chief Curator Kamini Sawhney explains that GodeBLR is designed to foster deep connections with the city’s residents by using art as a conversational canvas. Selected by a distinguished panel including Suresh Jayaram, Archana Hande, and Ravikumar Kashi, ten artists will create temporary facades and murals at metro stations and prominent locations. Ravichandar V., Chief Facilitator of BLR Hubba, emphasizes that GodeBLR is a celebration of Bengaluru’s vibrant soul, diversity, and innovation, aspiring to unite people and spur dialogue.
