Telangana’s Agriculture Minister, T. Nageshwara Rao, has announced the impending implementation of the Rythu Bharosa scheme for the upcoming season, pending the Cabinet Subcommittee’s report. During a press briefing in Hyderabad, Rao emphasized the state government’s commitment to fulfilling its promises and ensuring that farmers become self-reliant. He stated that the government has been steadfast in continuing initiatives initiated by the BRS administration, including the Rabi season’s Rythu Bandhu, subsidies for fodder seeds, palm oil, and drip irrigation companies.
Rao highlighted that the government has allocated an impressive eight thousand crore rupees toward these schemes, underlining its dedication to supporting the agricultural community. Additionally, he assured that the Rythu Bharosa payment of 7500 rupees per acre will commence from the next crop season once the Cabinet Subcommittee submits its findings.
