Triumphant Launch: Ashok Singhal & Pramod Boro Ignite UPPL’s Election Hub in Chirang District
The Election Steering Committee office of the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) for the upcoming Sidli LAC bye-election was inaugurated at Kashikotra in Chirang district on Saturday. The event, attended by a significant number of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) supporters, witnessed participation from prominent leaders including Cabinet Minister Ashok Singhal, BTR Chief Executive Member and UPPL president Pramod Boro, Rajya Sabha MP Rwngwra Narzary, and Lok Sabha MP Joyanta Basumatary. Additionally, BTC EMs, MLAs, and other senior leaders from the NDA-BJP, AGP, and UPPL were present.
Scheduled for November 13, the Sidli LAC bye-election will be conducted alongside elections in four other LACs in Assam. UPPL president Pramod Boro expressed confidence in his party’s growing popularity and trust among the people in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). He asserted that the UPPL has delivered on its promises, instituting reforms within the BTC administration, eliminating corruption, and ensuring sustainable development through strategic initiatives. Boro confidently claimed that the NDA coalition would secure victories across all five constituencies in the bye-elections.
The inauguration marked a pivotal moment for the UPPL, underlining their strategic focus and unified front in the electoral contest within Assam’s political landscape.
