Actor Govinda Hospitalized Due to Accidental Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
GUWAHATI: Shiv Sena leader and celebrated actor, Govinda, was hospitalized early on the morning of October 1 following an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound. The mishap occurred at Govinda’s residence around 4:45 AM as he was inspecting his licensed revolver before a scheduled flight to Kolkata.
The incident transpired when the firearm slipped from Govinda’s hand, causing it to inadvertently discharge a bullet that struck his knee. This alarming situation necessitated immediate medical intervention. Govinda was swiftly taken to CRITICare Hospital in Mumbai where he was admitted at approximately 5:15 AM.
As per the latest reports, Govinda is now out of danger. Hospital officials have assured that his condition is stable and he is on the path to a full recovery.
