Nearly 1,527,724 students appeared for Gujarat Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations this year across 1,701 exam centres in the state. The Class 12 exams were held in offline mode from February 26 to March 18, 2026, in a single shift running from 3:00 PM to 6:15 PM. The scale of the exercise underscores why the board is offering multiple result-access options to ease server congestion and improve access.
Students can check their marks on the GSEB website (gseb.org) by entering the seat number; the board has also introduced a WhatsApp service-send your seat number to 6357300971 to receive the result directly on WhatsApp. Candidates are advised to use only these official platforms and to ignore unofficial links or messages that might circulate after the declaration.
After opening their digital marksheet, students should carefully verify personal details, roll number, subject-wise marks and the aggregate score. It is recommended to download, save and print a copy of the scorecard for future use, including college admissions and scholarship applications.
To pass, candidates must secure at least 33 per cent marks in each subject and a minimum of 33 per cent aggregate; a grade of at least ‘D’ is required in all subjects. Those unsatisfied with their marks may apply later for rechecking or sit for supplementary exams, as per GSHSEB procedures that will be announced after results.
Because result-day pages can be slow, students and guardians are encouraged to keep admit cards ready, try official channels first, and follow any updates from the board for next steps on revaluation, supplementary registrations and certificate issuance.
