
Brazen Break-In at Nagaon School: Thieves Allegedly Hold Liquor Party
Unidentified intruders broke into Nagaon Bangali Primary School on R.K. Road in Nagaon town, Assam, on the night of Wednesday, April 29, and stole several valuables, police were informed after teachers discovered the burglary the following morning.
According to school sources, the thieves forced open classroom locks before making off with kitchen utensils, brass articles and other items kept on the premises.
Residents near the school said scattered drinking glasses were found inside one classroom, leading them to suspect the miscreants may have consumed liquor on site. This detail has not been independently confirmed.
The break-in came to light on Thursday morning when teachers arrived and noticed signs of forced entry and missing property. The incident was reported to the Itachali Police Outpost soon after.
Police are expected to open an investigation into the theft, examine the scene, and review any available leads or surveillance in and around the school.
