As the AI Impact Summit 2026 kicks off at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on February 16, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) is urging delegates to utilize public transportation due to limited parking availability and revised gate access protocols. This significant five-day summit, which concludes on February 20, will host an array of high-profile participants, including Heads of State, government officials, and international representatives.

In an official announcement on social media, the I&B Ministry emphasized the importance of planning ahead. “Traffic Advisory for February 16! Delegates attending #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026 at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan are advised to use public transport due to limited parking and revised gate access,” the post stated. The ministry also urged delegates to adapt their arrival times in accordance with new entry protocols and to cooperate with security personnel to ensure a smooth event.

Delegates are particularly encouraged to take the Delhi Metro to the venue, with the Pragati Maidan metro station identified as the most convenient access point. Entry to Bharat Mandapam will be via Gate 10. The Delhi Police strongly recommend that attendees opt for taxis over personal vehicles to alleviate congestion, given the restricted parking capacity.

For those who prefer to drive, there are designated parking areas available at Delhi Zoo, Purana Qila, and Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium. Shuttle services will operate from these locations to Gate 4 at Bharat Mandapam. However, it’s important to note that Gate 4 will only be open for entry between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM. After this time, access will be strictly regulated in alignment with security protocols.

Within the Bharat Mandapam complex, delegates are advised to make use of the golf carts provided to facilitate movement to their specific venues. Additionally, entry from Bharat Mandapam Gate 7 will only commence after 2:00 PM. Before this time, attendees can be dropped off at Gate 7 and will need to proceed through the Business Plaza to reach the convention center.

For delegates attending events at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, similar transportation guidelines apply. The Ministry has reiterated the suggestion to utilize public transport, metro services, or taxis due to limited parking options. Entry for pedestrians, metro passengers, drop-offs, and self-driving attendees will be permitted through Gate 2 of the Sushma Swaraj Bhawan.
