TGT (Hindi) candidates should have studied Hindi (and Sanskrit where specified) in all three years of graduation with 50 percent aggregate; TGT (English) candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent in the relevant subject, plus B.Ed.
PRT applicants should have either (a) intermediate (10+2) with at least 50 percent and JBT/B.El.Ed./BTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed., or (b) a bachelor’s degree with 50 percent and B.Ed. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified the CTET (Primary). Candidates for Assamese and Bodo language posts must have B.Ed. and must have studied the relevant language in all three years of graduation with 50 percent aggregate; knowledge of computer applications is desirable.
Qualifications for the Computer Instructor post include B.Ed. plus technical degrees such as B.Tech (Computer Science), BCA, MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT/Electronics), B.Sc. (Computer Science), or a bachelor’s/master’s in science/mathematics with PGDCA; DOEACC O/A level qualifications or equivalent PGDCA are also acceptable. Yoga instructors must hold a graduation degree plus a recognized diploma/degree in yoga. Sports instructors/coaches should have a degree/diploma from a recognized university or be state/national level players.
