Mohammed Sameer, the injured driver’s brother, recounted the distressing details of the crash, stating, “My brother was driving the rickshaw with both the Mercedes and Akshay Kumar’s Innova trailing behind. When the Mercedes struck the Innova, it crashed into the rickshaw.” The impact was severe, leaving the auto-rickshaw mangled and trapping Sameer’s brother and one passenger underneath the wreckage.
Emergency responders were quick to arrive at the scene, and the injured auto driver was transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition. “The entire rickshaw was destroyed, and my brother is in very serious condition,” Sameer added. He expressed his family’s urgent wish for appropriate medical treatment for his brother and compensation for the damage incurred, emphasizing, “We don’t want anything else.”
As of now, Juhu police have not registered a First Information Report (FIR) pertaining to the accident, and investigations are ongoing.
