Boeing Co. has made significant strides in its recovery, logging a remarkable 1,173 net orders for airplanes in 2025. Delta Air Lines also announced an order for at least 30 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, marking the airline’s first acquisition of the wide-body aircraft. Deliveries are projected to commence in the early 2030s, reflecting airlines’ proactive efforts to secure delivery slots for the next decade in order to modernize their fleets and replace aging jets.
