Globel FC celebrated a triumphant victory at the 25th Bodoland Martyrs Gold Cup Football Tournament, securing the championship title after an intense match against Salbagan FC of Gossaigaon. The final, held at the Kokrajhar District Sports Association ground, concluded with a 1–1 draw in regular time, which led to a penalty shootout. Globel FC maintained their composure, ultimately winning 5–3 in the shootout to capture the prestigious trophy.
The final match was officially opened by Hagrama Mohilary, Chief of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC). In his address, he spoke about the significant progress made by the BTC and announced plans for the renovation and beautification of the Kokrajhar Sports Association Stadium in the near future.
During the award ceremony, Globel FC received the championship trophy along with a cash prize of ₹1 lakh, while runners-up Salbagan FC were awarded a trophy and ₹50,000. The event was attended by key BTC Executive Members, including Lwmshrao Daimary, Derhasat Basumatary, Prakash Basumatary, MCLA Dhaneshwar Gayary, and Jubiraj Brahma, alongside numerous sports officials and enthusiastic football fans.
