Nitin Gadkari’s Road Survey in Surat: Transforming Ahmedabad’s Future
Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is set to visit Surat on Thursday to survey the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway, a critical segment of the Delhi-Mumbai Express Highway that traverses the Surat district. During his visit, Gadkari plans to conduct both aerial and road surveys to assess the progress of ongoing construction on the expressway.
Sources indicate that Gadkari will also inspect a 100-kilometer stretch of National Highway 53. On Wednesday, he, alongside Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, inspected the infrastructure developments on NH 48 near Rasulpur village in the Sabarkantha district.
The minister intends to engage with officials to discuss current traffic conditions and explore potential solutions for future traffic management. Additionally, he will oversee an aerial survey of a 200-kilometer segment of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway that passes through Surat.
His itinerary will include traveling the road from Palsana in Surat district to Valsad along National Highway 53. After completing his evaluations in Gujarat, the Union Minister plans to return to Delhi later in the afternoon.
